Until recently, I never gave much thought to garage kits. But we recently moved back to the area where my husband was raised and much of his family still lives. We didn't really want to spend a lot of time looking for rentals, so we rented a small house from a family member. Also, the price was right since we didn't know how long we would be making double payments before our house sold, especially in today's economy. The house is quite small for a family of six, and a lot smaller than we are used to, but it is on 5 acres and has a large out building that was built from a kit. And when your inside space is limited, extra outdoor space can really make up the difference. So, I was considering all the ways we use our building, and it got me thinking of the diverse uses of these handy, affordable building options.
If you are unfamiliar, a prefabricated garage kit comes delivered to your door and you assemble it yourself, with a little help from your friends. In a matter of a few days, you have an outbuilding for a lot cheaper than hiring a contractor.

Our building gets used for a myriad of things. It is a fairly large building, having two garage doors, one pedestrian door and two windows. Inside we have a small area set up like a family room. We put down a carpet remnant, set up the futon and chairs with a small TV and all the family games. Last night a couple of cousins stayed the night and the kids had a ball. They played games, watched movies and had a slumber party. From a parental point of view, it was great also - we didn't hear a thing! Out there we also have a small work out area, storage for boxes of stuff that won't fit in the house, my husband's work bench, as well as his motorcycle. Overall, a multipurpose room with many purposes!
This may be a bit extreme, and not what you need an extra building for (at least not all of these reasons), but here are a few other reasons you may need one.
Perhaps you just need a small outbuilding for your gardening and yard equipment. Small garage kits are great for storing lawnmowers, snow blowers, and all your large and small hand tools. You could even put a small gardening bench in there so that you can work out of the weather.
Garage kits make great shops, whether you are into wood working and have a workbench and many large tools to set up, or are a mechanic and need a place to work on your cars. I know my husband is always happy when he has a shop he can putter around in, many great creations come from his shop as well and many home improvements.
Garage kits make the perfect area for storing boats, trailers, tractors or any other piece of equipment you would like to keep out of the weather.
So, if you do not have enough room in your house, consider garage kits that you can assemble yourself to create extra space. Whether you need a shop, a place to do crafts, a work out area, a place for the kids to hang out, or you want to keep your car or other equipment protected, you are bound to find garage kits of some type that would work for you.

At your event, you do need to be careful and be aware as to a guest who is invited and then brings someone you don't know without telling you in advance. It is acceptable to approach this guest you haven't met and ask them who they are as well as which attendee they are a guest of. This simple step will not only introduce you to a new person but will also grant you peace of mind allowing you to enjoy your party.
Occasionally at weddings or events occurring at a hotel or banquet hall, it is easy for people to learn about the event, dress the part and then attend it uninvited. If the event is a formal sit-down dinner, then the parent will quickly realize bringing the baby or child was not a wise decision and will most likely excuse themselves from the party. If the event is a large or more informal party, then I would suggest allowing the baby to stay as long as the child behaves. Most often, parents realize quickly whether their child is ruining the party and will self-correct the situation.

What would you use your garden room for?
There are endless possibilities for how to use your garden room. The first question you should ask yourself is what the purpose of your garden room is to be. Will you have a specific use for your garden room or will it be multi functional? Is it to be used for business as an office or purely for leisure? Do you need electricity and water to service your garden room? You will need a suitable site in your garden for your room and it is important to take advice from experts here as they will be able to tell you all you need to know and will be able to advise you on any pitfalls that you may not have considered.
I have my own ideas as to what I would use mine for and how I would get the best from it. Ideally, my garden room would have two rooms in it, one for relaxing in and one for exercising in. I enjoy walking outdoors but during the wet and dark Winter days I prefer to exercise indoors, so I'd like to be able to do a variety of exercises in my mini gym. I am not interested in having lots of equipment, I would have a rowing machine and a treadmill and that would be it. There would be a wooden floor and I would have a large flat screen TV and would also like a mirrored wall so that I can see myself performing the aerobic exercises which will be shown on the TV. Depending on how I feel that day, I could either do an aerobic program or a dance program.
The other room would be purely for relaxing in, so soft pastel decor and comfortable chairs would be the starting point. I like to watch my garden and the wildlife that visits it, so a big window would be necessary. I also like to read, so would have a coffee table and somewhere to make tea or coffee. Relaxation is important for everyone and for me, it is vital that I set aside a little bit of time every day to unwind and relax. Sometimes I like soft music playing in the background and other times I prefer silence so that I can enjoy the sounds from outside. It is particularly enjoyable when the birds are singing.
The whole family would be able to use our garden room, however, the children would have to be made aware that if someone was in the quiet room, then they could not use the gym. We all enjoy the garden and the children have their own patch to grow what they want. We also have a pond which attracts all sorts of interesting creatures. During the Winter we will be able to observe the pond from the comfort and warmth of our garden room. I Love Italian Wine And Food - A Noble Tuscan Wine
Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is one of six Tuscan wines that carry the allegedly top of the line Italian DOCG classification where the G stands for guaranteed. But if your wallet is brimming with cash or you don't mind maxing out your credit cards you can find much, much better wines known as Super Tuscans. I don't plan to review any Super Tuscans, at least not until the economy turns around. When a local wine store had a sale I jumped on the chance to taste the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, a wine reputed to date back to the mid-1300s. It is based on a local clone of the Sangiovese grape that is found in so many Tuscan wines. You may remember that 2003 was a scorching summer in many parts of the world. Tuscany was not spared and this vintage was not considered to be one of the best. I would relish the opportunity to do a tasting of multiple vintages of this wine.
The city of Montepulciano is in southern Tuscany, fairly close to the Umbrian border. It's a lovely Tuscan hill town with a Fifteenth Century square, the Piazza Grande. If you are ready to spend a lot try to stay in the Locanda dell'Amorosa which is even older. Before reviewing this wine here are a few suggestions of what to eat with indigenous wines when touring this beautiful region. Start with Animelle di Carciofi con Mousse de Mele al Calvados (Artichoke Hearts with Apple-and-Calvados Mousse). For a second course, eat Umbrichelli alla Norcina (Handmade Spaghetti with Cream-and-Sausage Sauce). For dessert indulge in Cantucci (Almond Biscuits dipped in Vino Santo, a Tuscan dessert wine).

Wine Reviewed Canneto Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2003 14.8% alcohol about $24 (normally about $32)
I'll start by quoting the marketing materials. Description: Match it to a meat-based lasagna. Tasting Note: The Nobile '03 from prugnolo gentile with small amounts of merlot and cabernet sauvignon showed well. The nose starts out rather hesitantly but goes on to reveal perfectly ripe, eloquently expressed fruit followed by lovely spicy notes. But it is on the palate that the wine really comes into its own, displaying good extract, tanginess and energy. Score - 2 Glasses (out of 3).
I first sipped this wine alone. It was mouth filling and quite persistent. The Vino Nobile had a great balance of tannins and acidity. The first meal had for starters barbecued chicken wings in a sweet and sour sauce. I tasted black cherries and tobacco with oak in the finish. The main dish was barbecued spare ribs. With the ribs the tobacco was predominant. So far so good.
I next tasted this wine with a combination of rib steak and shoulder steak slathered with a home made barbecue sauce composed of ketchup, mustard, garlic, lemon juice, and black pepper. The Vino Nobile was noble; it was powerful with a great balance among the soft tannins, fruits, and acidity. It was quite long. It really cut the grease of the potatoes roasted in chicken fat and picked up acidity when facing a tomato salsa salad.
The final meal was a commercial shepherd's pie. This time the predominant tastes were black cherry and oak, but I tasted tobacco as well. The wine maintained its force when I added a spicy jalapeno pepper sauce.
The first cheese tasting involved a Mozzarella which weakened the wine. A Yellow Cheddar didn't weaken the wine as much. In both instances the wine was frankly wasted. Perhaps a better cheese would have made more sense. Moral of the story, don't waste a fine wine such as this one on fairly pedestrian cheese.
Final verdict. I would jump out and buy more at this price. But I think that I would pass at the regular price in my area. I definitely remember other Italian wines at that price that were even better.
